LENT 2023
Download LENT Groups 2023 leaflet
This year you are invited to study across the parish using the Lent in Plain Sight – a devotion through 10 objects. The book by Jill Duffield is a contemplative companion from Ash Wednesday right through to Easter, inviting us to use everyday objects to reflect and pray as we walk the way of the cross once more in Lent. But though we are using one book this year, there will be many ways and places to study and reflect, perhaps over coffee, in walking, or over a simple lunch. We might do the course in different ways – but together.
The beauty of arranging several groups using the same material at different times of the week and in different ways, is that you can stay in one group, or try different approaches to suit you!
The Lent books have arrived, so please contact Bridget Trump 01308 459875 if you would like a book. You can see her on Sunday 5 Feb after the 10am Parish Service at Holy Trinity Church Bothenhampton, where an exchange can be arranged. For those who haven’t yet paid, the books are £9.50 each and it will be much easier if you can pay this to Bridget in cash.
